Thread: Have you made the jump to 4k?

Yeah, seems weird as I am sure there was comments that Panasonic aren't introducing any new tvs into the US this year, but they have oled tvs coming.

There doesn't seem to be too many comments...

Is anyone excited by anything that was shown at CES?

Lots of OLED, plus the wallpaper LG. I imagine this could be a very expensive year for tvs though

You still finding it good Haisley? I'm on 100/10 cable at the moment, but thinking about going for the upgraded fibrex max - in Paparangi.

house prices in Welly are ridiculous at the moment. I've heard of a few places in Newlands/Paparangi with values around the $450k mark going for over $700k. I think largest was $297k over value.

    Thread: AV Deals Thread

Really, I haven't found much, but understood they generally liked the FALD system in the dx900 more. I understood that the dx900 had a wealth of controls to play with as well, so it could be more...

Thread: Have you made the jump to 4k?

good point, had not really even thought about this. I think my receiver does upscale, but assume any hdcp 2.2 content won't play.

I'm still tempted by the DX900 as I do a bit of gaming on ps4 and...

I'd agree ptown is the biggest. also a lot more parking. Only issue might be how busy it is because of Queensgate's issues.

It's not a right though. They can either have something in the contract, or they can just say no. Why you'd say no to someone with 3 months leave though...massive liability there

OLED also has it's own set of issues. Essentially there really is no best technology for all situations. But generally, OLED is considered better than LED
