This. Played solidly for a couple of months on a server, building an epic house and exploring. But not much else to do after you have achieved those things. Also having to mine a small country for resources gets boring too.

Fun game is fun, but not above 8 imo.

I feel it deserves the 9.5. It's a truely fantastic game that keeps almost every player hooked for at least hours. There's no doubt interest has dimmed as access to Beta has been around for a very long time; but for someone picking it up for the first time I think it deserves that score

Minecraft probably has the best dollars spent to hours played ratio in my whole gaming collection. 9/10 from me.

There are superior games released this year that scored lower. Dark Souls and Deus Ex for example.

Thebestgamers did a surprisingly fair and balanced review of this (by their usual standards). It's kinda boring but might be of interest to those who disagree with the high scores it's been getting all over the place.

Is there a way to trial the online mode of the complete game? I'd be keen to give it a go now that it's actually finished.
