Just installed an OGG Vorbis encoder (oggDropXPd) and changed it to -q5...so much better than LAME vbr mp3 encoding

Most noticeable at high frequencies.
Post full results = the tomorrow.

Some people getting their panties in a knot about high quality music encoding when some of the best music out there sounds like ****ing ass.

AAC's just as good and MPC for that matter.

If you're going to wank on about codecs, at least back up your claims with some real proof.

danscene & GaR are the norm, such a high bitrate is transparent to most people.

As for the song being "suited for ABX tests more", it sounds to me like you sit there listening for artifacts, instead of just listening to the damn music.
