Yes but in a good way. I've noticed that's it's programmed so you never spawn within an enemies view or within a certain distance from the nearest enemy. You do spawn close to enemies but far enough so it always takes at least 10 seconds to find the nearest enemy unless you sprint. I play Ground War the most and I never get spawn killed EVER. ---

It's not programmed for jack, it's all too easy for someone to just sit and fire rifle grenades at the spawn point. ---
