Lullabies is my fave QOTSA album, I think that's why I like this so much, I always liked their darker more psychedelic side and that's what is in prominence here rather than the swaggering confidence they usually exhude (although its definitely still there in parts). Homme has evolved their sound while remaining true to the spirit, no mean feat especially considering all the lineup changes over the years.

Yerp, Lullabies is probably only second to Songs for the deaf for me. This album is slowly climbing up my rankings.

Troy is such a pro-musician. Alway's suited up and ready to play music.
Jon Theodore is a logical addition to the band. The Mars Volta are crazy tech/madness.\ Shuman is growing on me. He kinda reminds me of Jason Newstead though he is young compared to Homme and the others. He is 27 and playing in one of the best bands from 90s00s10s. Big shoes to fill. ---

I swear he has been influenced by Radiohead/Thom yorke too this album. Especially "like clockwork" (dat folceto)
