Sorry, don't know where else to ask this. I f'd up trying to update the OS on a Galaxy S i9000, got it into a boot loop, and looks like usb recognition is gone too. If someone is willing to take a look at it, I will send $30 your way over online banking. If you manage to fix it, I'll make it $60. I will cover all postage costs. Send me a pm if you're keen. Cheers.

Kinda the wrong thread lol.

But try pulling the battery, then start it up in recovery mode (typically hold volume up + home + power at the same time) and delete the dalvik cache.
Reboot it and pull the battery again, wait 1-2 minutes, then put it back in and boot it, after a firmware change it can take up to 10-15minutes to boot for the first time again.

I mean the lag between tapping the button and when a frame is actually captured. It's quite slow compared to the iPhone..

Wondering if it's an app specific thing and something that can be remedied with a better camera app.

I know that is one thing that HTC worked on, Privoxy can probably confirm that the HTC One has "zero lag" between pressing button and taking picture, due to continuous focusing.

One would think Samsung would try and get this right, but probably not. :p

It isn't. It isn't as bad as Samsung (with Cancer-Wiz) but the Iphone is a lot faster.

Sorry but Touchwiz > Sense. Sense is so close to iOS for me it isn't funny (as it is atm anyways)
