I knoe capcom made resident evil, newsboy edited my post. I didn't say anythibng wrong in that post.

RE:RE is awsome! I bought it when it came out in usa the first day along with Eternal Darkness, these two games are by far the best survival horror games on GC....now I just have to sit and wait for the rest of RE, ED2 come out while playing Super Mario Sunshine ^^

RE is so good after i rented it out, i went out and bought a GC with RE (iam a bit of a RE fan) Cant wait for RE: Zero

Yeah i played it yesterday, and after playing for 10 minites i was sold. I dont have a GameCube yet, but next week instead of buying a xbox i'm buying Cube! I am a res fan to, and after playing the ps1 version for years i was stuned to see just what the Cube can do! Only the deamcast has made me ever buy a console after play one of its games for no more than 10 minites. Good job capcom!:)

Damn its great to see so many new people buying or wanting a Cube after playing only one game. So has Nintendo got a good machine going thanks to Capcom? Or will there be many more killer games to come?

I wanted a GameCube after i had played SSBM but dam! after playing rez i just got buy it.
Nintendo win this round for my money, i plan to sit the GameCube on top of the ps2...right next to the Dreamcast:p

NINTENDO might have lost a great game developer like RARE but they gain another great Developer is Capcom, it was a trade off

Great Review Newsboy, and great to hear of the purchases in GC, I was going to get the X-box but I'm more than happy with me purchase with GC for the exclusives with RE alone!!

THey haven't got capcom. Capcom still make games for other consoles. EG devil may cry 2 coming up

Capcom have 2 other exclsuive new games coming to gamecube, unknown what they are yet. Along with a new exclsuive mega man and resident evil 0 & 4.

Namco have soul caliber, giftopia, ridge racer & some other rpg coming

And Gamecube is getting an exclusive final fantasy game from square.

The BIG name 3rd party exclusives, are far more valuable to Gamecube than banjo kazooie & perfect dark 0 and you bet Microsoft would rather have them too.

BUt sould calibur is not as exclusive. the ff game is some chronicles game, not ff11 or 12 though. capcom is on all 3 consoles, resident evil series for gc, devil may cry series for ps2 and there is meant to be dino crisis 3 on xbox but haven't heard anything, so they are still making the top games for all consoles.

you know that they don't have to keep using numbers on the titles, maybe they are changing so that they have more exciting names

the fact is that the game is still exclusive, and its a final fantasy game

Microsoft is rumoured to be trying to buy Capcom... you guys know that, right? Unlike Rare tho, this one is more complex - Capcom make games based around the Nintendo TriForce hardware for the arcades, something that would almost certainly cease should M$ step in. Does that mean M$ are looking at getting into arcade stuff as well? Time will tell...

There is already a prototype Xbox based arcade board.....supposedly the new Outrun game will be developed on it.

i can pretty much garauntee(sp?) that they won't buy capcom, microsoft have already made huge losses this year, then put ontop of that the purchase of rare, if they go and buy another huge company, the shareholders would not be happy

anyway the losses are nothing to do with the development of games, its to do with the purchase of land or something??

i think that that romour is going to fly around, with any developer thats in any sort of trouble

and could you imagine the price that they would have to pay:eek:

Actually HOTD3 is based on the new board i believe
