When Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones hit movie theatres many critics commented that it was a return to form of sorts after Episode I failed to hit the target squarely. In fact the previous prequel turned some original Star Wars fans right off and for videogamers the mediocre (to put it kindly) Star Wars-branded games they were bombarded with soon after only made things worse! It almost seemed back then that the whole Star Wars franchise was doomed to "Death By Cash-In". Well we're pleased to report that since Episode II the Star Wars games like their movie parent seem to be on an upward climb again in terms of both content and quality....

oh man i hired this a couple of days a go from blockbuster three kings and its crap,it was ok when i first started playing it but when i got to be samual l jackson with light a saber i just turned it off, slow down from hell crap gameplay but just as always(like any star wars game) it had ok sound!
Jedi starfighter well,i had a good go at that and enjoyed it thought it was really good, also on the pc jedi knight 2 kicks arss.
Its a shame that after 2/3 years of ps2 being launched they could still make games this bad!

this is my opinon!

Hmm, well everyone's entitled to their opinion;)! In fact when the first Mace Windu on-foot level fired up I went "Oh nooo, this is bad!" but the review was written after playing the game right through to the end, completing some of the side missions and playing a bit of multiplayer and I have to say overall I actually thought it was generally a pretty good experience!

If you read through the review I've said that the on-foot levels definitely let it down and there's bits of slowdown here and there too but there's also quite a few positive aspects to the game so that overall I still think it rates. Obviously the overall score reflects everything taken into consideration and this is why it didn't get a 4. One thing I really enjoyed was the conquest multiplayer option which allows you to build gun turrets and other units to attack your opponent or defend your base with which is a really good new addition to the usual multiplayer modes seen in games like this. Overall I had a lot of fun with Clone Wars:D!!!

Ha! I love the way these forums work! I just finished reading Telly-Gambino's comments and was gonna come back and put my own comment in when InFiLtRaToR's one popped up! Well, he said what I was going say - I also hired it out and had the same feeling when I first did the on-foot level with Mace. It was running like a dog! BUT the rest of the game IS a lot of fun! Those running around bits are only a very small part of things anyway so not too bad. And yes been having heaps of fun with the multiplayer games!

Yes & no:p!!! Firstly, it's "mainly" a vehicle-based" combat game (read review for further detail). The vehicle levels are heaps of fun - the on-foot levels are not:(. What you do have tho is the choice 1st- or 3rd-person views throughout the whole game which is sorta cool. I actually found I used the 3rd-person view the whole time though for this game.

No. But conquest mode allows you to build extra units to which you can give 4 different orders for attacking and defending, etc which really is ummm, yes I guess ;) (for that mode anyway)!!!
