From what i have seen the guys i know who pick up the most tend to just hit on every chick they see.

Yeah but thats easy to do in clubs, what do you do when your just a teenager, and either like at a bus stop, or just sitting somewhere and a chick catches your eye? Its harder to start a conversation with them out of the blue, compared to places like clubs and bars or parties.
