Hmm they're probably either going to announce the StarCraft II launch date, or something to do with Wrath of the Lich King. But I would really like to see D3..

They wouldn't tease us about a franchise that already exists (hopefully).

There is some decent evidence to suggest a Diablo announcement. Hope so. I reckon they just string us Diablo fans along for kicks though. It'll probably be something stupid like a World of Warcraft Wii game.

I do but I know that it wont be the same. I was 10 when I played (and was addicted to) Diablo 2. It wont be 2d either - will probably look like WoW and have monthly fees.

It is Diablo 3. Well according to Gaming Steve and he knows ALOT of Blizzard employees so his word is good enough for me

Well if Diablo3 becomes WoW Mark II as you put it, what would really be different? Not a lot, Game play would be very similar, just better graphics and more items and levels to spend countless hours farming creeps away for. It will just fuel another generation of WoW (D3) Addicts..

An RTS would not fit the series of course. I just think a Hell vs Earth RTS might be a good concept for a RTS game, I am not sure of course as there Doesn't seem to be any type of game like that out ATM, I think I'm just a little to bias to MMORPG type games, as i have known a few people to devote there life's to the game.. (They have finally given up the wowcrack FYI, just for a happy ending)

Why would Blizzard release another MMORPG in competition to their amazingly successful current release? Answer? They won't.
