Baffa, i saw that green 300zx yesterday arvo on the western motorway whilst lounging back in my gloria, smells like he's running a link ecu, wayyyyy too much fuel for cruising along at like 2krpm and 20k/h :P

how the **** can you tell he's running a link ECU just by the smell?! I should post that in the "I smell shit" thread.

It's running an HKS ECU,there's almost nothing stock when it comes to that engine.
Even Soichi cant figure out what the tune's doing, he basicall said, it works, and works well, so dont **** with it.

It boosts over 25 psi from memory so it needs to run reasonably rich.
His fuel bill is ****ing lol

well put it this way, judging by the smell i was getting yesterday if he purchased a Greddy informeter (lots of info including fuel cost at any given trip) im pretty sure as soon as he turned the key itd cost him $3

I thought the whole point of tuning a car was to have appropriate fuel supply for any given RPM/load/boost etc.

yea thats why i commented, he wasnt under boost he was crawling along in traffic and it smelt like it was pissing fuel out the back bore wash is not a fun thing to deal with

I wouldnt be surprised. The previous owners set the car up with the intent of making it a drag/race car, then 60k later gave up and sold it on.

He has tried heaps of other tunes, only the HKS one works. The whole thing is integrated.
