Has there been any news on system requirements? I did a quick google and couldn't find anything.

Well tbh it's questing since your hearing what there saying then deciding weather to do what they want, protect or escort etc. Otherwise you just keep roaming until you find something to do.

Can't remember which video it was (one of the GDC vids), but one of the devs mentioned the min specs will be about the same as the first GW.

lol sure it is MarksoN, there the only company we know who are trying to change the mmo mold, look at rift for example, The game has already been completed by the hardcore wow raiders, even after Trion tried to make it harder by buffing the raid.

Looks to me like the skill bar has grown from 8 to 10 skills (though it also looks like you can toggle bars). There's still some hope yet. As long as they retain PvP characters and items, I'll be happy.

[edit 2] Looks like PvE characters become max level and have access to all skills, items, armour in STRUCTURED PvP however in World vs World PvP, your character remains as is.

I mean more towards game play and items like crafting with jewelry ect.
Its the best thing about GW imo that items are all equal.

Thats why HoM is neat, can get skins from start of gw2, rather than try to find them.

Any ideas on what the last 2 classes will be? Mesmer and some sort of support? I know they want to move away from a dedicated healer but I loved the monk and kinda want to play something like that. Thief is looking really fun as well.


So many hours spent on GW1. Can't wait for this.

I'm kinda hoping for some type of adventerer class, But I really do think there will be some type of mesmer, because after all the queen is one.

It almost looks like some of the TF2 classes made it's way into Guild Wars 2.

Also for those interested in a talk with Izzy one of Anets lead game balancers has discussed the possibility of a mode similar to DotA/HoN/LoL style as one of the 3 types of pvp in GW2.

Sorry meant beta not open beta :P. Games is set for early 2012 release but word from close to the project is that its pretty damn polished already. Could expect some BWE's like the first GW2 in the second of the year maybe.
