I have a HTPC and want to add to the entertainment by adding some multiplayer games.

They would have to be single/split screen and be able to run on Intel HD Graphics 2000 and Windows 7.

The only game I can think of is Worms -is there anything else that you guys can come up with?

Dead Pixels is alright and Jamestown is really fun.
Both are available on steam.
EDIT: Adventures of Shuggy pretty good too.

Every post dude. Every ****en post! Please stop.

As for some suggestions

Now I cant claim to know if/how well they'll run but here are some great single screen multi/co-ops

Trine 1, and 2 (single screen co-op)
Rayman Origins (single screen co-op)
Heroes of Might and Magic III (Hotseat Turn Based)
Civ4 (Hotseat Turn Based)
Serious Sam 1 and 2 (maybe 3 as well but I've not played it) (Split Screen)
Dustforce (single screen co-op)
Portal 2 assuming it works on the chipset (Split Screen)
The new Alien Breed games (single screen co-op)
Shank 1 and 2 (single screen co-op)

Oh and the new Worms is pretty badass.

I have tried this with mixed results -some of those old arcade games just weren't meant for today's large widescreen displays, even playing around with scaling still leaves it a mess of pixels :(

brand, out of curiousity just how does the intel chipset deal with games mentioned here (or games of similar sys reqs). I honestly have no idea, and reviews/benchmarks only tell me so much... I also cant really be bothered trawling the net looking for them.

Street Fighter X Tekken, if it won't run any of the older street fighter or tekken games should do.

Honestly not good mainly because of the weak video chip...

I am running a Celeron G540 it is quiet, low power and handles Full HD video with ease making it ideal for HTPC and genuinely amazing value for around $50.

But I have to stick to the 2D worms games (circa 2010) rather than the later 3D ones (no great loss the 2D ones were superior anyway). The 3D ones will run but lag a bit making them annoying.

so 3D is out then... that does limit it then. I strongly recommend HoMMIII then its a great time killer and low low low spec.

ive had it working on either xp or vista i forget which was a while ago, if i had game controllers I'd definitely put some time into trying to get this going. there is a PC version or some kind of emulator version. I can't tell you any more than that, maybe google can help you :D

At the moment Intel integrated graphics are pretty terrible compared to AMD's integrated, Intel 4000 can run some games on low settings and the upcomming Intel 5000 should be able to run games at 1920x1080 with low settings.
