    Windows is not working properly (will try using 64-bit windows 7 ) and the bezel still needs to be completed

    can't see any major problems from the pics, but could the HDD (between ODD and mobo?) be a bit hot?

    I know I havent updated for a long time but Windows is working and the bezel will be completed (hopefully) this weekend
    The old screen had artifacts so I have put in a new one.

    @nokeeo

    The old screen was hotglued in place, the new one is friction fitted with a dab of glue on the sides, because the corners did not fit so they had to be cut with a dremel.

    Be ever so careful with your bezel... mine shattered during test assembly a few months back. I've had to put my project on hold until I can track down another bezel for a slotloader. Stupid old brittle plastics!
