Don't know if any of you guys have followed the antics of conservative douchebag James O'Keefe, but he was the guy who posed as a pimp asking for financial advice from ACORN, editted the videos to make it look like they supported prostitution, and effectively got them shut down.

Well him and his buddies have just gone and tried to commit voter fraud to prove that it's possible to commit voter fraud and that's why voter registration ID is necessary.

Hopefully it gets him put in prison now.

Isn't voter registration ID just another way to squeeze out immigrants and blacks?

  3. Post
It might be able to be argued that way, but my understanding is that registration levels have been steadily increasing, especially during Obama's campaign in '08. It's still nowhere near what I would think are 'acceptable' levels though.

"About 131 million people reported voting in the 2008 U.S. presidential election, an increase of 5 million from 2004, according to a new table package released today by the U.S. Census Bureau. The increase included about 2 million more black voters, 2 million more Hispanic voters and about 600,000 more Asian voters, while the number of non-Hispanic white voters remained statistically unchanged."

US voter turnout, 2008 election: 56.8%
NZ voter turnout, 2008 election: 76%
    OECD median: 72%

That's why republicans are pushing so hard for it, and why it's so hilarious that it's a conservative shill who's going to be done (hopefully) for voter registration fraud.

As a service for US forum members I will periodically publish who owns which politician in the race for the presidency of USrael.

In case you are unaware politicians can be bought in USrael by simply "donating" money to them.

So lets start with who owns Mitt Romney...........I will give you one guess who owns Romney!!!!

Your public service was linked too on the previous page. At least read the threads you post in.

There is quite a bit of research overseas that shows the bulk of people will not follow links in threads cynic.

It is far better the info you want to link to is actually displayed within the thread where you would put the link.

At least then it is seen and understood.

One of the most interesting lists is that of Ron Paul owners. Either Ron Paul is the cheapest politician to own in USrael or he refuses to do what his supporters want him to and therefore he just gets token amounts just in case he wins. No bankers whatsoever for Ron Paul whereas every other contender for the presidential nomination is fully owned by the bankers.

R.I.P Huntsman. The only Republican who i would have considered.

Can't say no one saw him withdrawing from the race, especially after his tweet about evolution and global warming.

I find it sadder that his tweets about evolution and global warming were basically what made him unelectable as a republican.

    Good link.
    Love Ron Paul:
    Immigration
Would "abolish the welfare state" to discourage illegal immigration and end automatic citizenship for everyone born in the US
Would veto any "unbalanced" budget; refuse to raise the US borrowing limit; and eliminate the income, capital gains, and estate taxes, and cut $1tr (633.6m) from the annual federal budget
    Social issues
Supports allowing states to ban abortion and legislation "defining life as beginning at conception"; supports policy measures to facilitate homeschooling

Yay, Rick Perry is out. Now for Santorum and Gingrich to quit too.

  15. Post
My vote would go to Gingrich, who just seems benign and looks like he would toe the line, but mostly because he isn't Santorum.

  16. Post
    Gingrich seems benign?

  17. Post
He's not that popular so I just don't see how he can inflict much change. What worries me is that both of his hands are big oils pockets.

  18. Post
The same gingrich who wants to get rid of child labour laws so that inner city kids can get the work ethic they all obviously lack? Who wants to arrest activist judges and is such a champion for the moral majority that he's thrice divorced and cheated on his cancer ridden wife?

  19. Post
Can't see it happening and his sex life is of no interest to me.

  20. Post
It's not about his sex life, it's that he can't (As I suppose is true of politicians by their nature) be trusted as far as they can be thrown.

  21. Post
So who is your hypothetical vote going to? Ron Paul ?

  22. Post
big blow to Santorum, next to go after SC.

Gingrich is obviously another extremly moral, giving, generous and rational Republican.................................

None of the republicans, since Huntsman has dropped out. The current GOP candidates remaining are bad for the entire world.

I'm still holding out (the tiny) hope that Gingrich or Paul will win. Someone totally unelectable so the next Presedential election is a joke. Romney could actually win the next election, then it's back to economic liberalisation for the states .
