Lol Manly just released Parcell to Leeds? I hope they have a big signing up their sleeve.

  2. Post
Do they still have Api Korosau?

  3. Post
They do, but is he an 80 minute Hooker?

  4. Post
Yea he can be. They will just slide Lewi Brown in there in he needs a break

They must have a decent young player coming up.

Still Parcell was really good which is confusing

Jackson Hastings to Manly so guess he'll have to play a massive part.

    Thank you Manly

Manu Vatuvei's stats for the 2016 season are roughly in line with those of his 22 year old team-mate, David Fusitua, and only slightly better than the stats of his reserve, Jonathan Wright- yet Manu is paid significantly more. Do you think the Warriors will dispense of Manu in order to free up the side's salary cap?

They'd need to ride out his contact unless theres an out clause. Pretty sure the last contact he signed was quite a lengthy one (at the time)

Mckinnon is a deadset scum bag. Dont even care if its his lawyers making the decisions id never allow it to go ahead.

Dickhead needs to take responsibility for tucking his head. He did it to him self.
Even if you're right and he is solely at fault for tucking his head in, it was an action taken in the heat of the moment without the benefit of time or contemplation and might've been purely instinctive.

I do see your point but Alex's lawyers are obligated to act in his best interests so if they see an opening for compensation it is their duty to at least investigate it and, if they should find it potentially profitable, to launch a case. This is simply a matter of lawyers acting within professional standards and a client facing daily life problems doing what's best for himself and his partner.

    Makes sense, Cheers.
It's a darn shame because the gulf between Manu and, say, Jonathan Wright isn't that wide and it'd be in the side's interest to let Manu go and recruit a work-horse forward to remove some of the load off an aging Mannering.

Matulino did his knee at training and needs surgery on it so he's gone for the start of the year. Big blow with how lacking in size they are already.

Hopefully Vete takes a big step up this year and some improvement from Lisone would be great too.

Broncos are rorting and the nrl are letting them do it.

They signed Sims for $85,000 ffs he was on $400,000

  17. Post
Yeah agreed Steve, will be on a higher contract next year but not sure how much. Yes Broncos are the cash cow so NRL let them have everything including Friday night games nearly all year every year haha :|

French rugby giants Toulon have announced that banned NRL premiership-winning fullback Ben Barba will switch codes and play for them for the rest of the Top 14 season.

"Ben Barba will arrive in Toulon next week," read a statement on Toulon's website on Tuesday night.

Only two weeks ago, Cronulla re-signed Barba two months after his contract was terminated by the Sharks following a positive test to cocaine.
