    RMX is great.
1070 turbo seems fine also. Runs max OC in GPU tweak.

Turns out I didn't make it in time after work so will get it in the morning. This is the current power supply I have - thoughts on whether I need to even upgrade? - http://www.zalman.com/contents/products/view.html?no=89

I'd say your psu is fine. The 1070 only needs about 160 - 185w at load.

I think I might bite the bullet and just upgrade my PSU and GPU. Thoughts on this card? -

    Ryzen 1700
    2 x 8gb DDR4 2400Mhz
    ASUS B350M-A
    Geforce GTX 1070

Any recommendations for PSU outside of your 1000w one - I want to get it tonight and new? I was looking at

    Sorry to sidetrack the thread!
    get 3200mhz ram

  5. Post
Agreed^ you need some nice 3200mhz + ram for ryzen to fully shine

  6. Post
Was watching reviews for ram speeds, it had good gains with a 1080, but not great bang for buck for lower GPU's. Worth looking into anyway. Bang for buck 2666 seemed pretty good.

3200mhz ram that will actually run at 3200mhz on Ryzen is not cheap.

    Like 4-5% increase...

Anything above 3200 is pretty much rubbish.

Linus, not the greatest tester, but nice and recent video. Bit of search will find numerous with the same results anyway.

I had to get 3600mhz as it was the only b-die I could find in NZ. I see we have flareX now but it's the same price as 3600 so meh.

F4-3200c14-gtzr is Samsung B. It's also sexy. Still in the same price bracket though.

  11. Post
i think playtech has that right?

  12. Post
They're the cheapest at the moment according to price spy yeah.

  13. Post
I got my 3600 for less than that so I'm happy but yeah, DDR4 prices in general are ridiculous currently.

  14. Post
    But dat rgb. 🤣

Ddr4 prices are going to get worse too.

Anyone recommend a good AIO cooler for i7 7700k, enough to get 5ghz with decent temps? 60-70?

Was looking at some Corsair H100s series etc, case is a NZXT 440.

    H100v2, h115I. Pretty similar performance.

Maybe grab a kraken if you like nzxt gear.

    I've got h80i v2 and i get 5ghz 24/7 just fine.....

    But I delidded

Bigger than h100 and thinner than h115I.

the 1 in the front means it's dual fan

the 1 in the middle means it's 140mm fan

the 5 in the end means it has a thicker radiator

the i means it supports Corsair Link software

Thanks, think ill skip kraken cause its slightly out of budget.

Out of the H100i, H110, H115 which would you recommend?

Even the h100 is more than enough cooling potential for any modern cpu. 240mm radiators also have better case compatibility.

so the difference in temperature between the H100,110,115 would be very little? can't seem to find a benchmark test on them.

110, 115 will dissipate the heat faster but the 100 can still dissipate way more heat than you'll ever need to get rid of.

I know that this doesn't help much but they are all good choices.

240 easier to mount. 280 means slower fan rpm may be required so a bit quieter (in theory).

right now i have a H55, will the H100iv2 make quite a difference? -/+ 10 degrees at least?
