    Thread: New AB Coach

Have never said the coach doesn't really matter, basically said whoever the coach is it's a big plus for them to have so much great depth... need a coach that's selects the right squad, has the man...

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Don't be silly, I'm saying you have to be accurate, unlike Ferguson who bowled a fair bit of short wide crap.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Realise that it's just the general go to when a bowlers usual deliveries are not going well as mentioned before, whether it's swing, back of a length, really short stuff etc as long as it's executed...

We've really missed Boult, but not worth risking it in case he breaks down, sensible decision to try & get him fit for the 2nd test,

Great catch by Wagner, one of those ones that sticks or...

The others should be bowling in good areas like him.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Plenty of bowlers have bowled on roads, yeah, he's played 11 tests over 4 years, also he tends to be in the squads most of the time so that's a big plus for him & it's about making the most of your...

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

What utter nonsense, what part didn't you understand when I said overall ? his bowling average in tests is 48 & he bowls a load of crap at the death in the short forms.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Yeah, very good points... batsmen tend to score a lot of easy runs though behind the wicket using the seamers pace, whereas against a spinners slow pace they normally have to work for it putting in...

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

The way I look at it whether it's cricket, rugby, soccer/football, the more skill sets you can execute well in your position the better the player you'll be.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

What ? it's pretty basic what I'm saying, which is Henry's a pretty poor bowler in all formats of the game at international level.

Well you should care about yorkers in tests, a great bowler...

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Of course a yorker is a surprise ball, but when a bowler is poor at bowling them it's only because they don't practice executing it enough, other than surprise balls it's a pace bowlers & spin...

Nothing wrong with bowling a yorker now & again in tests to surprise a batsman & maybe get his wicket.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

Point is Henry has underperformed in tests for ages, pointless to keep on selecting him.
