I like the Clubman pretend vans. Mostly because I like old school Mini vans, but could never afford one.

    That's a relief, and explains a lot.

However, makes it a bit disappointing as a series then, if that was the ending :(

I managed to find and watch the first two episodes. but beyond that has eluded me ... is it just a two ep thing?

Whitby in Wellington is far too posh to have dirt roads, or motorsport ;-)

I prefer to call it White Buy.

    Nope, not that Whitby!

That's the demand for them, so that's what they sell for.

2K cup has consumed multiple dozens of them, so the demand is strong for 111's. Less so for 101's with the silvertop 20v.

Took the 86 out of the garage, re-applied the ceramic spray on stuff (CMX?), took it up the coast for a workmate's baby shower.

Was going to take it up to Manfeild to watch the MG Classic race...

That definitely won't last, and their collections team appear to be a small fluffy toy.

Not even a fluffy toy of something scary. Imagine maybe a 1 day old chick.

Hoping they give us a slow burn story, with a lot of world building.

Reasonably happy with the first episode, for a first toe in the water.

Levin's are pretty capable cars, easy to get a factory LSD gearbox. Will definitely drink oil. Might possibly exit conrods, courtesy of the featherweight blacktop conrod dimensions.

I'm wondering if it's rocking the Linglong + no shocks combo. That's good for some pogo action, even with no power.

This is the most glorious event. It is what Gumball ought to be, rather than a bunch of coke fueled millionaires in supercars

Thread: What did you do to your car today?

if the car has been consistently faulty, I'd consider that reasonable grounds.

How much time has the car spent at the stealership being fixed, and how much is this new fault likely to cost you...

    Return it to sender?

This isn't me being sarcastic (for a change), it's a genuine question, as I don't recall how it was purchased.

10 foot pole would be the minimum with an old Maser like that. By all accounts they were almost completely unreliable new, so I doubt age has helped them.

Probably wasn't stolen, just an owner with warning light rage.

Yeah, and the trans tunnel is quite high and narrow in the MX, which really narrows (some pun intended) your race seat options too.

You probably won't need a cert for a half cage, if you can get it in behind the seat out of head strike range.

Buuuuuuuuuut, to do so properly, I strongly suspect you're going to need a race seat,...

Can't recall if I said it in this thread ... my workmate (mechanic) worked at a dealership that had the Great Wall franchise for a duration.

They were having to do structural rust repairs on them,...

In a perfect world, I'd like a Leaf, but with Tesla batteries, for better life / range / cooling. An impossible (at a reasonable cost) dream I know.
