Cool. Farkin DHL are messing me around for customs today. The documentation should have already told them the tax/duty was paid, like it did on the return documentation for the faulty unit when I...

    Thread: The VR Dream

My Odyssey+ turned up with one faulty controller last month and I had to send the entire thing back to the US for replacement. New one is on its way back now and I'll have it it a few days. I only...

You can browse network shares with Skybox. I just use it in Airscreen mode though.

The Quest should be good for streaming SteamVR thanks to its 6dof controllers. I doubt they'd ever advertise such...

    Thread: The VR Dream

It has the best chance of being the first VR headset to get mainstream adoption (being it is a self contained unit). The adult industry is certainly hoping so...

I'd recommend Skybox for streaming video from your PC Kevin. The void mode is great for lying down in bed watching. The Netflix app has that mode also.

Hmm thanks. I heard iRacing runs like a bit of pig in general , but I wasn't interested in it anyway. Project Cars 2 is supposed to work very well and also doesn't need the taking the headset off ...

I'd read they've improved that recently? I have a high-end system at any rate, so hopefully won't be too much of an issue for me.

    Thread: The VR Dream

I mainly use my Go for watching YouTube and Netflix in bed and it is perfectly fine for that. I haven't tried a movie though, as I have a projector and home theatre system that I'd rather use for...

    Thread: The VR Dream

That is good to hear, it makes me want to buy a Rift, now that I have a 2700x and a 1080ti I can run one properly. There is a budget knock-off of Beat Saber on the Go, but having a single controller...

    Thread: The VR Dream

It is basically the same as the Samsung Gear VR, just with the phone guts built in and better optics than any of the existing headsets - it is most likely to be the first VR headset to get mainstream...

    Thread: The VR Dream

That looks like heaps of fun!

I just ordered an Occulus Go to dip my toe in to VR. I'll be building a new high-end PC in few weeks though, so will grab a proper headset if I don't get bad motion...
