    Thread: The VR Dream

I'm gonna sit and wait on upgrading my headset. That's a big whack of cash, and I'm not convinced that it is enough of an upgrade for me yet.

In other news, SkyRim VR is awesome.

Nah there are loads of games you can just sit in your chair and play, or stand in one spot.

When you set it up for your playspace you have two options. Roomscale and Standing/Sitting.

They confirmed it in the presentation at CES. There is an option to just buy only the headset, since it is compatible with the original Vive lighthouses and controllers.

    Don't know how good this...

I like that they are giving the option to just buy the headset. So people with a Vive already dont have to pay extra for the controllers/base station etc.

Yeah my one is amazing. But my head is too big and makes the earphones keep popping off so I had to unattach mine and use my wireless ones.

The extra modes can make it quite fun. I find that it's one of those games where if you can give yourself some goals to hit you can get more out of it. For example trying to finish it with only one...

Rift is way more comfortable. I am hanging out for the Deluxe Audio Strap for my Vive, since I find that a big VR session can start to really hurt my cheeks after a while.

Oh also sorry to double post, but Occulus also has slightly lower system requirements too due to asynchronus warp. So if you have like a 1060 or 970 it might be the better buy.

Before last week, I would have said Occulus, but now it can go either way.
