Ended up going with some Spank Spike Vibrocores. Will see how they ride next weekend.

In terms of brands/models of aluminium handlebars, are they all much the same assuming same dimensions/rise/sweep etc?

Looking at upgrading from my stock 15mm rise to 35/40mm rise.

I'm in Petone but work in the city so I'm pretty easy to take it anywhere. I ride with one of the main mechanics at Cycle Science but they are a bit on the pricey end of things so am happy to explore...

Dirt Farm was pretty decent ae. Its entirely clay and no rock out there so it was super slick after the rain last night.

I've barely ridden clay apart from pretty dry days at Belmont so I was...

Going to Dirt Farm on Sunday. Anyone else been before? Anything worth checking out in particular?

Had a cheeky jam out at Belmont yesterday. Enjoying the super grip from tubeless.

Was hoping to upgrade in bike next year but my thesis printing bill was equivalent to a new carbon SC Bronson I...

That would require the 'mum and dad investor' to pull their head out of their ass and realise that you need to put capital into a business.

Topatopa looks absolutely brutal, good luck with that one!

Standards and/or methodologies change. There has likely been a revision in one or both since the original assessment.

Converted bike to tubeless and I'm loving that extra grip.

Took it out to Makara and had a blast down livewires and northface.

200mb plan as well. Pretty good. I wish they did offer a 200mb up and down plan like they do with the 100. Would suit me well since I have all my work uploading to onedrive.

Disturbing that this has now come up in NZ. Was likely only a matter of time till these white nationalist **** wits or delusional jihadis decided to act up though.

I do love the look at the Jeffsy. If I'm moving to Europe next year that might be on the cards for the next bike.

Did the Wainui Enduro today, was a hell of a good time if it wasnt for one gigantic cock up.

They for some reason decided to make it forced order for both easy and hard class, so you had 200...

Any of you Wellington folks doing the Wainui enduro?

Can't say I've ever ridden the first section of Spoonhill, only taken 491. Have heard that spoonhill is a bit of a prick there with all the clay.

Wainui is great man! Freewheel is a bit peedally, but good fun anyway. 491/spoonhill is where its at though.

A real shame they broke up beeline because that was probably one of my fave trails.

From what I've heard its on the chopping block in order to continue work on the bottom part of the park there.

I guess they want the space to continue with some more beginner oriented trails...
