    Thread: NZ v India

He is a favourite in terms him been selected in a lot of squads, therefore at least it gives him opportunities to make the 11, just would've had others players ahead of him in squads over the last...

It's hardly a sin for any pace bowler to break down, one of those things that happens at times, just unfortunate.

Yeah, it's definitely a big step up to international level where it's so crucial to have a tough mental attitude otherwise you're not going to go too far... said we look to have good bowling depth...

    Thread: NZ v India

There was a fair bit of loose bowling by both teams, great striking of the ball though, not very often that you get such a tight finish in 20/20 with both sides scoring over 200.

    Mitchells a very...

He's not really a big striker of the ball anyway, can hit big at times, but is more of a worker of the ball into gaps for singles, in the 20/20 stuff when we're really looking for the big shots Kuggs...

Showed on hot spot a clear mark on Mitchells bat, an absolute shocker of a call to give him out, was basically a double blow as we lost our referral too... when a video umpires decision is that bad...

    Thread: NZ v India

Didn't say Kuggs bowled short, said he bowled orthodox deliveries that were asking to be smashed in a game where you basically attack from ball one.

Most of the bowlers don't execute yorkers that...

Well, reckon your argument is just a nonsense... why the hell would you want to favour back of a length & very short stuff over cramping players by getting the ball much fuller or using yorkers in a...

There's nothing complicated about it mate, if you get it very full just short of yorker length} in good areas, {obviously not on leg side of the pads, that easy runs for any batsman} & cramp them up...

You still don't get what I mean... said, just short of a length, meaning length or standard orthodox deliveries, which is why Kuggs got hit all over the park, was just too predictable... yeah,...

I'm talking very full {very slightly short of yorker length} not just short of a length stuff where Kuggs got completely hammered... all these blokes do is play cricket, our bowlers should be good at...

Southee got some swing last night, but bowling very full isn't a bad area if the ball isn't swinging, you then adapt & change your target area & home in at the batsmens pads to cramp their shot...

Didn't say that Latham isn't a good keeper, just said he has been a bit sloppy at times, he may be a bit better than Seifert as a keeper, but there's not a lot between them in that area.

    Thread: NZ v India

In Southee's first couple of overs he bowled a lot of very full stuff, my point if you get it very full in good areas it's very hard to score, haven't seen a yorker hit for 6 yet :p

    Yeah, accurate...

Disagree... The very attacking way Seifert was playing most of the time you're always going to give a couple of chances anyway, would criticise Seifert as a keeper too much, have seen Latham drop...

What ? he didn't bowl full enough, why would you want to bowl short in this form of the game especially, if you do it has to be directed at the batsman body, either side of their bodies & they smash...

Thought Mitchell was impressive as well, bowled smartly using a lot of slower balls & bats well too, the bloke was very unlucky to get caught in the deep, was a top piece of fielding by the Indian...
