Thread: India A and India in NZ 2020

Seeing Jamieson bowl live in that Aces vs Volts game, I was so happy we didn't pick him to play in Aus...he's not very quick at all and wuld've been very hittable. Your man Rae on the other hand, is...

It was pretty incredible the crowd when Raezor was bowling, like an intl. game. Gee Nick Kelly is a very good striker of the ball, some of those sixes were effortless and he doesn't look to be a big...

I've actually been really impressed with the SS this year....NZC have reduced the ticket costs and made an effort to improve the experience at the ground. More importantly, the quality of cricket has...

Bout to head along shortly. Went to last weeks game and we played really well. Will be interesting if they drop someone for Smith and who that person will be.

Rae has been great for the Volts in the SS this season? He is pretty sharp too.

Thread: How many FC/Provincial Teams should we have

I'd suggest merging AKL and ND to be honest. Ignoring the BCs who play 1 game every 2-3 years for them, ND is mainly a pension for ex-NZ players, not to mention they are bottom of the Plunket Shield...

Anyone else think they should be looking at McClenaghan as an automatic selection? He looked pretty hitable yesterday...Averageing 41 with the ball and RPO >9. 7 wickets is ok I guess.

I loved how Waugh said Blundell shook Labuschagne's hand at the end of days play for his 200, rather than Marnus shaking Tom's hand for surviving the session.

171/7 vs. 63/0 is a very good fight...

Yea but does he say that if NZ is bowling? No, he doesn't. There is no way the umpire should be getting feedback on that call, that it is only barely just clipping. To everyone it looked not out,...

I totally agree - If that was miraculously given out, it would've stood....it was laughable they even appealed

Even before that ball to Blundell that reered up, (new) balls should not be dying through to the keeper on day two

Was just coming to complain about how terrible this pitch is for day two in a test, and then it just pops up on a good length at almost shoulder height

    Hi all

I only tunned in for the last session, but how disappointing to see CdG bowling 114kph with the second new ball and Henry bowling dead straight 135 kph (max). How can you say Southee wasn't...

How much of a slap in the face will it be when Somerville is picked over Astle? Kane doesn't appear to have any confidence in Astle, so no point picking him.

    Thread: New Zealand in Australia

He has got runs (100s) when given one off opportunities in both tests and 50 over cricket for NZ. Says a lot about his mental game. To score a 100 against that attack in Aus, was a night fine effort

I was thinking the same!! Unless it was hitting the shin on the back leg, dead in front they gave us nothing. Especially, with such an angle, that was pretty hard to give the benefit to the bowler...

Even the commentators are questioning why he was selected as finger spinners donít do well in Australia. There is no way they can pick him

Tbf, the message board would’ve dropped Nicholls, CdG a while ago and look what they have become...even Southee to a lesser extent

It’s like when teams get suckered in to the green pitch at the basin....if you can survive the opening hour, it becomes a road. MCG has been a road for a while now. Easy to say with hindsight....
