Reviews of it that I looked up earlier all seemed to think it was fine due to all the venting (At least the metal sided versions they all seemed to have), surprising most reviewers. Is a $225USD + Shipping case tho

Yeah that case is nice and compact thunder, only thing that worries me with the small case is over heating, especially if i put high end parts in it. like a 1080ti or something.
Yes.. temps are something to worry but only for CPU. Card runs 75deg no prob, and doesn't crosses it.
For CPU wow... it's hell lot big problem.. was reaching 85deg on CPU alone when 6700K was left alone as is, so I had to tune the clocks from 4.2GHz to 2.8GHz max turbo. Now after this the CPU stays nice comfy 50-52deg around.

I know I know - what's the use of 6700K then.. well.. I get to use 8 Threads :P Anyways the games are GPU bound not CPU typically.

https://www.asetek.com/desktop/oem-cpu-coolers/545lc/ fits in the V2/V3 I am pretty sure from one of the reviews 92mm aio lol

Looks like the windowed version starves that cooler for air to much, it does look pretty damned close to the window

    8 throttled threads, wooo.

    :/

Sort your temps out and stop wasting your 6700k

    Silverstone SG06.
6600k GTX970 so on so on. Had to get a SFX PSU and come up with creative SSD/HDD mounting.
Was very hot on factory cooler so have opted for a 120mm all in one.

Pretty overkill for the stuff I do so cooling is sufficient for now

If I was into buying large cases again, I would seriously get that. Despite its monstrous size, its bloody awesome.

I see so many AIO systems these days, have the pumps got a lot quieter from a few years ago or are people just dealing with it? I really like the aios but the ones I've had have been annoyingly loud

    Very nice build BTW

Are those Phanteks Halo fan frames? If so, where did you get them and how much?

Yea they are. PBTech stock them $17 for 120mm and $20 for 140mm. Then there's the Lux versions which are aluminium and cost a bit more.

Scored a Nexcom NISE 3600E for a song, from a dairy farm that was upgrading, but the machine itself is fully functional still, Ive never seen anything like it before, It looks like a fatter Car audio amplifier:

It's a core i5-3610ME with 4 gig of ram, that I will upgrade to 8GB, and a 120GB SSD, 6! Com ports I wont need, but onboard Displayport I can use, it will make a cool Lounge\TV computer, but I'm currently prepping\Priming and painting the exterior heatsinks to match the rest of the TV\Cabinet\Xbox, hopefully I dont mess it up

Finally got around to building a rig out of a few spare components I had lying around this weekend.

Planning to use it mainly for a somewhat overpowered media PC/seed box, but also as a semi-capable spare gaming PC.

    Specs:
    i7 3770 CPU
    32GB of Memory
    AMD Radeon HD4890 Graphics Card
    Dell Optiplex 9010 mATX Motherboard

All been thrown together in a hacked up generic case, which I may change to a nicer looking one at some point.
