    My v1000 a while back, I've made some changes since (upgraded psu, video card, hdd) so now I've got the wires hidden a bit better and I'm using a black ide ribbon for the dvd drive. Oh and I'm on air cooling now, using a cnps9500.

    Cooling solutions - 12cm fan screwed with square drives to my stock heatsink
    Current Modifications/Overclocks : CPU stable at 2800Mhz and 1.4v. (Idles with fan at lowest poss RPM 35degrees and peeks at 55 with prime hot test with fan on full.
    GPU cooler also modded with a 7cm amd fan replacing stock little buzzing thing. It is simply screwed to the heatsink. Peaks at 72 degrees with fan just idling along. Case is pretty near silent when not under load.
