Yeah make sure you've got a shock pump
Rode on Saturday, massive massive climb up a massive hill, the top of it required us to get off our bikes and put it on our shoulders to carry it up a step hill/cliff face
Was fun on the way down. I got a puncher and had to patch it up, luckily my bro had a repair kit on him. Reminds me to go buy one too.

Yeah man Lifecycles was an awesome film and with the sound boosted up. The first time I watched it I didn't have the dudes narration over it, then watched it a second time and he was speaking. I thought it was amazing how it flowed without him speaking.

You should watch The Collective - Seasons as well, great film.

Bike looks siick bro what shock/fork have you got on that thing and how well does it handle drops?

Also what do you think about standard pedals vs clip-in/cleats?

Rockshox domains at the front and Fox DHX 5.0 at the front. From the drops and jumps ive done so far on it seems mint. The front forks I find are great going downhill too.

Clip-ins are good for long rides/more climbing/cross country. Where as the BMX style pedal is more of a freeride/downhill/dirtjumping thing.

Sweet, will just roll with my flat pedals. I chucked out my chain-stay guard thing thinking it was just bullshit when I got the bike Read up on using an old tire tube wire tied on, gonna sort that tomorrow then spend the day on sunday in the waitaks hopefully

My front shocks a RS Sektor, afaik mine's the air version as opposed to coil, so dunno how well it'll handle any flat lands beyond a few feet Will soon find out!

Also downloaded 'Fluid Ride Like a Pro' for some pointers
