    The Australian Classification Board has taken new action regarding Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming game, Mortal Kombat, a title it has refused to classify.

    Yesterday afternoon, the Board blacklisted Mortal Kombat meaning those caught trying to import the game can face fines of up to AU$110,000.

    $110,000 is the commercial fine for selling the game in Aus or importing 25 copies or more. It's not a fine the average Joe who imports a single copy is going to see.

    If customs catches it 99% of the time they just seize the item, worst case a fine worth three times the item's value.
