i like the omni tool as a physical weapon!
not sure but does this mean the game is mostly based on earth? ;/

more importantly how stripped back and simplified has the game become since EA seems to control every aspect of BioWEA these days. Recent previews and statements lead me to believe that this might be even more of a hack job (but prettier) than DAII. Terms like "appeal to everyone" and "plays like a shooter" fill me with dread.

Interesting to see that Garrus makes a return, as does fighting geth...heretic geth?

I want to know this, too.

Kinda disappointed that I don't get to cruise around in my bad ass spaceship.

You still fly around in space ala Me1/2, only the intro levels take place on earth. That was revealed in an edition of the UK game informer mag a few months ago, heres a link to the info

Nope. Just like ME1&2 it is only one location of many.

still don't see how it will be physically possible to deal with a whole **** load of reapers, considering how much pain 1 of them can cause in ME1

*cough* ME2 pretty much was all about gaining the tech needed to deal with that kinda threat, depending n your choices of course.

Gametrailers has a walkthrough up showing off some of the combat and early segments of the game, spoiler-ish I guess.

ME1 was my all-time favourite game until ME2 came out. ME2 was everything great about ME1, minus all of the not so great stuff. Even though these two games are easily the best games I have played, I am still extremely skeptical of ME3, due to the Dragon Age 2 fiasco. These trailers aren't helping much - loud music and Michael Bay epileptic cameras point more towards mindless shooting than the brilliant story and tactical gameplay I loved about ME1 and ME2.

    God you're predictable.

Average trailer, but I'm still definitely playing it.

edit: just watched the ToR trailer, guess thats where all the money went

looks like they stripped more out of the rpg and made it like DA2 ala action orientated with slow mo bash XXXX button finishers.

meh, i guess my money is going elsewhere again.

You're really going to pick at me when i'm praising the damn trailer? Mark Meer is a terrible voice actor and detracts from the experience of the series with his shitty lines and even shittier delivery, i would have left it at Maleshep being a douche if you hadn't called me out.
