    In reality, the owner of the tattoo artwork is the creator of the work, unless there is a written assignment of the copyright in the tattoo art.
    So you don't actually own the tattoo, you're just paying for the privilege of using it? Sounds familiar.

    Essentially, the same could be said for any tattoo, someone, somewhere is bound to have it.

    especially ones from bands etc.
