    maybe the gratuitous violence , gun porn and vulgar language distracted the players? nah no way, the game is way too high brow for the riddles to be not noticed..

    Amazing interview, very insightful. However I don't fully believe/buy/trust what the writer has tried to do, and that may simply be because he has failed to do what he set out to do successfully. Interesting take on the idea, but as the author of the article states that instead of essentially mocking those games, it simply becomes one of those games.

    By the sounds of it, the game could have benefited storywise if it didn't try to be an arcade FPS at the same time. I guess AAA games will always need to be somehow generic and dumbed down to appeal to the mass?

    You should definitely read the article posted above (the one Foxman posted). Very interesting.

    I did, I was hoping that this game could bring the level of experience I get from a really well written story. Judging by Foxman's article and the comments in it, I doubt that now.
