    Bad results?

Last i heard Man of Steel, Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman were box office successes.

Notice how I didn't say "did poorly at the box office"?

But whatever. Carry on with your combative shtick that you seem to now wear like a cape.

Oh you think those movies are bad? Okay well I'll disagree with that as well; I thought they were all great.

The fact remains that the Marvel Film Universe is still running rings around DC's offerings, so high-profile losses like this don't exactly instill any further confidence in what they're doing.

too early to call what happened. maybe he wanted flash to be black ?

DC fanboys are shittin bricks this week. First the flash director now this.

I was having dinner with a couple of executives who know other executives who are working on the [forthcoming] Batman movie, The Batman. And they were just telling me that there are serious problems with the script. And that the executives I was having dinner with were complaining about people who work on the Batman movie. And they just said they went to the studio and they said, ‘Look, the script is … Here’s 30 things that are wrong with it that we can fix.’ And [the executives] said, ‘We don’t care. We don’t really care. The amount of money we’re going to make globally, I mean 70 percent of our audience is not going to be seeing this in English. And it doesn’t really matter, these things that you’re bringing up about the flaws of the script.’ So I do think global concerns play a big part in how movies, and what movies, are being made, obviously.

Lol, if it was from the mouth of Bret Easton Ellis I wouldn't put much stock in it.

They should just stick to doing TV until Disney starts to wear itself out

David Ayer, Margot Robbie Reteam for All-Female DC Villains Movie 'Gotham City Sirens'

Suicide Squad 2 is happening along with a Deadshot standalone movie.

Harley was the worst part of that movie.

  12. Post
Disagree. The soundtrack and Margot were the only reasons to watch it.

"If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great, I’m not going to do it," Affleck said.

Context. Affleck was never contracted to do anything but BvS, Justice League Pt.1 & 2 - three films.

DC have messed up so many movies, how are movie fans still trusting them? They scored big with the Nolan movies, but I really can't think of a single DC movie that has excited me.

BREAKING: Shazam! To Split Into Two Films: Dwayne Johnson To Star As ‘Black Adam’

The New Line DC property Shazam! has morphed into two pictures. Black Adam has proved vibrant enough to become its own film, to star Dwayne Johnson. Originally, the plan was for him to play the character in Shazam!, which is the tale of a teen boy who can transform himself into a superhero by speaking the word “Shazam!”

Black Adam is his arch-nemesis and a complex antihero with a rich history of his own. As the studio began to figure out the movie, they realized, why not a twin bill? Johnson, who was excited enough about his meeting last week at the studio to tweet it (after a hard shoot on the newest Fast & Furious installment), has done well with New Line, most recently teaming with Kevin Hart in Central Intelligence and the global blockbuster San Andreas. He’s prepping the monster destruction picture Rampage that is on New Line’s 2018 slate, and it looks like there’s yet another franchise for the amiable big man.

Pretty bold considering they don't even know if Shazam! will be a success. But DC gonna DC.

It will make money. But probably be bad.

its over. Ben Affleck won't direct The Batman.

  24. Post
Why is it over? Probably for the best, means he hopefully won't phone in his performance.

How is it not over at this point? Michelle MacLaren dropped out of Wonder Woman. And we've already heard that it might be a mess. David Ayer had his version of Suicide Squad shredded to pieces. Two directors dropped out of The Flash. Now this.

I still wanna see Justice League but really they should seriously look at rebooting after Justice League.Take a few years off and reevaluate. Start fresh. This time have an actual plan.
