Been on the Tinders again for a few weeks. Was travelling for work so swiped in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown lols. Accumulated 300 matches so I’ve completed my PokÚdex.

Haven’t been bothered messaging first except a couple of times when drunk. Only been on a couple of dates. One with a nice girl from the US, got smashed on fruity cocktails and watched the sunset. Going out for a flash dinner with her tonight which should be fun.

What makes him do it around Christmas? I've dealt with shit like that with my older sister. She no longer lives in NZ anymore and he's in jail.

stop being scared of the word "no"
dude we just got this thread back be careful

  12. Post
Yeah anyway... I didn't mean it like that but I deleted it anyway.... Its like everything in life... one person says no you move onto the next person. People get all hung up on being rejected and the fear of rejection gets to some people to the point where they become scared of even talking to a woman. This is a deep seated problem with people and its why some people will never realise the potential of having a relationship with a partner based on love, commitment and intimacy.

One of the things people with low confidence values have is a deep seated fear of rejection. Probably because they've had a traumatic rejection in their life and/or they have problems with their physical appearance, etc... The only way you're going to get over that is to build a bridge and get over it.

Dunno how I could be misinterpreted for one of those sleaze bags that doesn't understand what no means, but hey whatever... OK... I understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry but that was never my point. If someone says no on the basis of such little information they weren't the one for you in the first place.

I was just trying to help a clockblock out.

The worst part is there are people willing to kill themselves in such a statistical fashion.

I shall kill myself on a leap day just to stick it to the man

Christmas wouldn't be so damn stressful if it wasn't such a consumerist nightmare. Change my mind.

$250 on a date? bruh.... are you rich or just really careless lol max I'd go is 120-140, maybe 200 if she was 10/10 and I was super keen.

I'm 30quid max bruv unless I can get away with going to wetherspoons then it's even less

I kinda just figure if I want to go out for a nice meal then why not do it on a second tinder date. I wouldn’t go to a nice restaurant for a first date unless I thought she was way out of my league and looking baller was my only in.

Going out for drinks you can decide how much you spend depending on if you’re into them, because if I’m not I’m gone after one!

Plus work is paying me a fair whack extra for seconding to Queenstown - figure I’ll spend it on food, booze and women (roughly in that order).

Back in Dunedin today. Ran out of swipes. Saw this one girl who I think I’m into based entirely on meeting her mum but never meeting her before (that’s real weird right?) - didn’t match yet might just have to hit her mum up for some contact details.

How come you feel the need to engage in the consumer holiday?

Genuine question. At that much money why don't you pay for it and get a high class escort which you know would be good. Obviously no emotional stuff but if that is not what you're after then it's not a big deal
