Hah, I know that feeling - i'm probably going to spend thousands in end of year sales, so trying to restrain myself at the moment.

10% off is a mean deal, unless you want a wireless router, not much in stock that's for sure.

I had one of the Toshiba ones with the same spec. Ran great, didn't have any issues at all.

My grandmother (80s) ended up being hospitalised so chucked a micro SD in it, made it super high contrast and put Kodi on it and now she has a stack of movies and TV shows to watch. The only other computer she's owned is a P4 desktop running ME.

I wouldn't worry about the spec if you're just consuming media. Will definitely get another at that price.

August EP650 Bluetooth+NFC headphones, $112NZD incl shipping. Seems like quite a nice deal, have seen nothing but rave reviews and will likely grab myself a pair.

I would wait for another 50% off headphone sale at NL and pick up the Sony ones for $65 (or the noise cancelling ones for $150)

Because it's their outlet store, people have bought them and returned them, or cancelled order etc. They sometimes have refurbished ones for even cheaper.

Which one did you get the asus for $506?

Is it me or have Playtech bumped up some prices before the "sale"? Was after GoPro which a couple weeks back not on sale was $219 with them but out of stock, now its $239. Same with the Intel NUC, some have gone up $30 or so now, still come in cheaper than other places with the 12% but still, seems fishy.

Isnt that like a known trick with playtech?I dont shop with them so cant comment.
    CL or go home

Yah 506, ive been after one for ages and 500 was the threshold... Fairly happy !

I've been watching the price for ages, they didn't jack is before the sale which was nice...
