40 grams of Omega-6 daily average for most people is really bad for us

BTW: Animal fats and similar are better ... take that vegans

“All animal fats are fine, but if you don't want to eat animal products, that's fine too, fruit oils are fine too - so olive oil is a fruit oil, so is coconut oil, so is palm kernel oil, they are all fruit oils and they're perfectly fine.

But then there is this Harvard article that was updated two months ago, that says Omega 6 is good for you - so who to believe.

Hey lets make a roof of straw sandwiched with plywood and sealed with bitumen. What could possibly go wrong!

^ I had that exact same thought reading the newspaper earlier today.

Supposedly an eco friendly roof. So much for that idea. 12 million litres of water deep and still going

I keep getting spam called from "softvire NZ" trying to sell me software at discounts. They don't seem to understand "**** off and dont call me". Pretty sure they are scraping NZ companies office for their call list as thats the only place this particular number of mine is listed/used.

90% of these are faked and the rest are people complaining about being called

Need some comical options to **** with them. Do i create PM mutton videos and outrank them for all keywords related to their company? social media driven negative PR campaign across fb/reddit? Maybe invent some LOL sob story about their insensitivity and try get it picked up by news sites?

I got a call from: 0306254701 and initially thought it was a Wellington landline. It was a woman talking in some Asian language but probably a recording. I hung up pretty quick. Probably some sort of scam. I realised afterward that it was too many numbers to be a NZ landline

I got a call the same as that yesterday, except it started with 070, which when I googled it came up as a scam in the UK where they call you and leave a message and when you return the call it is a paid number.

    I blocked it straight away.

I love those phonecalls. I just deadpan them a friendly no, leave no openings, then wait for their response.

Many awkward silences are had, it's fantastic.

"Do you currently have x insurance?"
    "Nope."
    [...]
"I'm ringing about you expressing an interest in our insurance packages."
"I didn't express an interest but okay."
    [...]
    [...]
"...Do you currently have any insurance?"
    "Nope."
    [...]
"None at all, then would you be interested in hearing about our packages."
    "Not really."
    [...]
    [...]
    etc etc

They'll eventually start looping about what their call was about, and why they called, and usually ask me a second time about whatever their opening question was and eventually grow frustrated and hang up.

I think their scripts aren't really made to deal with someone who doesn't really leave room to respond but also doesn't tell them to **** off and hang up and they end up sounding super awkward until they eventually give up and hang up.

    It's tonnes of fun.

How is this even allowed lol... Their address is another company currently whose address is this place https://www.servcorp.co.nz/en/locati...and/pwc-tower/

So basically they rent a "virtual office", register it with the companies office and have no directors in NZ because australian?

I emailed airbnb support for a problem about changing my phone number. It wasn't showing up on my page but the support guy says it had been updated. He then proceeded to CALL my number without my permission. I emailed back to tell him to leave me alone.
