Oh and someone hacks your icloud account and posts your nudes in the intardnet (Hi Jlaw!)
Everything I have plugged into mine has worked perfectly. Cannot say the same for any Windows machine I have used in the last 5 yers.

Yeah TBH I've never had any of those issues. It's an old argument relative for pretty niche stuff.

They're expensive for the technology though, and getting pretty unloved by Apple. Which makes sense, the laptop market is kinda flat so best sell $3000 cellphones.

I rode 50km this afternoon... thats a pretty good effort by my standard. Riding for me is a freedom from my own head because there's always too much logical shit going on in my brain and sometimes I just need to shut up and ride.

Thats because all the common drivers are included in the OS X install these days. Can't say the same for Windows. Its a bloated way of having Canon printer drivers in the install but whatever. Its like anything else, if it has the Mac logo on the box it will work...

Just like my Linux installs... Choose the right hardware in the first place and you'll never have any problems. Windows users boast that they can use some Yumcha Tomato brand motherboard and it will work eventually even craptacularly... I don't care to play that game anymore, I just want hardware that works.

Out of all the years I'm pretty sure the worst thing thats happened with a MacBook is that it started doing its Terminator impression and left the SPDIF port on constantly.... It was a little scary, but when you can just take it to Apple and get it fixed the same day on the spot its not an issue anymore.

I've been procrastinating for ages about getting back into riding, after a long break due to injury. The weather is good for it here now and I want go for a ride down the beach on my fun bike below.

I think my body will thank me more if I start out on my more cushy dual-suspension bike though and do some forest circuits for a few weeks first to get some of my riding fitness back.

    Those motor x bike wheels?.

  14. Post
It is a Fatbike, the frame and wheels are a lot 'fatter' than a standard MTB. Those 4.7" Bulldozer tyres are designed for floating over sand and snow. You can also get specialised snow tyres also with spikes in them - the bikes were originally designed for people to be able to ride in high snow areas in North American winters.

Tends to corner like a bus on a normal track mind you, but climbs like a goat, thanks to all that traction - it is really fun to ride on the appropriate surface.

I went down a hill at 50kph on it and caught some shingle sweeping through a corner, the handlebars flicked towards my stomach and stopped the bike dead in its tracks - meanwhile I briefly learnt to fly, did a full flip and landed on my back about 10 metres away down the hill.

See I did my best superman impression when I was 10 years old, landed on my face pretty severely, knocked myself unconscious and still don't remember a thing. All I remember is the bit before where I was racing a mate and then waking up in hospital. I get up to 60km/hr on my roadie and it scares the shit out of me. I'm not much good at down hill anymore.

I live to learn life's lessons the hard way... Another mate of mine cooked me yesterday while riding down hill. A couple pedal strokes and he was gone... meanwhile... I have a real thing about bikes... and have to develop a trust the thing isn't going to kill me somehow.

Yeah I know, but when you come so close to killing yourself at 10 years old it does things to your head. When you wake up in a hospital trying to do xrays on your whole body at age 10 and you're so loaded full of morphine you can't stand on your own feet then yeah.... When you wake up and see more than 100 stitches in your face because they had to put you back together through the polished hospital grade steel in the shower it'll traumatize you also. I don't speak about it much these days but it still messes with my head.

Have several of those including mass food intolerances called IBS and GERD.... slowly ruining my life and actually causing malabsorption so yeah... Its like herpes it never goes away but I don't complain about it on here or much anywhere else. Don't worry, the doctors don't even know what IBS is and the fun fact is one in five adults will get it in their life time. That means someone you know most likely already has it.
