Is your mate writing articles for his own business and having them deleted? If so there should be deletion discussion documenting why.

Been a while, but basically, why would the business be noteworthy enough to have a Wikipedia entry? Is the article objective and written using verifiable third-party sources? Using it for advertising is frowned upon.

He should just stop being budget and do AdWords and Facebook advertising.

I'm not sure what commercial benefit he'd get from Wikipedia anyway but maybe it's a notoriety thing.
