Hasn't uefi been out for like 10 years? Why are you disappointed your steam powered laptop won't work on a current gen os.

Also you don't need UEFI to run Windows 10, unless your boot drive is >2TB

I did notice my computer was stuck after the bios boot after the patch was applied. So I just pressed the reset button and hoped it would come back up and it did.

    KB4524244

This update was causing problems with my Gigabyte Aorus software, it would always freeze when starting up.
I just removed this windows update and now the Aorus software works again

1909 is fine but some of the recent updates after it have been buggy so best to turn off auto updates

does anyone how to create a bootable Windows USB on macOS?

something like dd would work if you are comfortable with the cli (e.g https://medium.com/@tbeach/use-unix-...e-6671945d95a6)

it's a standard unix app so should be included on macos, but you would need to be very careful as the wrong command could cause many issues to your machine. There's probably better gui tools a mac user could recommend tho ~

Are you going to do that on a Mac?I used to use the unetbootin but it didn't help me as expected.

I had enough with uTorrent's shittiness, it kept freezing when pausing, stopping downloads, etc under Windows 10. QBittorrent works flawlessly and isn't bloated by adware, like uTorrent.

qBittorrent has a x64 build too, something which uTorrent lacked for whatever reason.

Imagine actually installing the bloatware software crap from hardware vendors.

    ^Deluge is pretty good too

Just use rtorrent like a pro.

I moved to QBitTorrent as well after years on an ancient ass version of uTorrent. A move long overdue, works well without any of uTorrents awful bullshit.

You plebs still use torrents?? direct downloads through Real-Debrid all the way.
