    This.

That's an insane number of players more than ten years after release.

And Activision-Blizzard is probably quite right; from an investment perspective there are most likely much better metrics available to them showing the financial performance, e.g. ARPU (i.e. the number of subscribers may have halved, but the average spend per player may have also doubled, or the average time spent playing may have increased etc etc).

Yeah, way down from 12 million sure, but then if you think about it 5.5. million subscribers are till dropping what, 80 million dollars into their coffers every month. (I assume subs are still about $US15 a month? No idea.)

I bet other games companies wish they had the problem of a single one of their games declining in popularity to the point where it "only" brings in 960 million dollars a year.

subs are $15us per month for NA and 15 Euro in EU. Subs are time based in Asia where by they minutes rather than fixed rates.

In Asia the price is currently $5usd (equivalent) for 2700 minutes of play time

So the revenue is relative, in Asia the $5 game card would last a whole month if you played only 2 hours per day but if you played 10 hours a day you would need to buy a new time card every week effectively costing $20usd per month

It's a pun on denial. Also yes, Teelo is a troll.
