Billions - Damien Lewis, Malin Akerman, Paul Giamatti

New Showtime series with a great lead cast. Haven't seen much buzz around it. Not too familiar with the showrunners, but the trailers have got me interested.

I dunno, good cast but limited premise imo, plus its on Showtime, I'm calling it for one and done.

From a purely technical perspective it was not bad, only so much you can do in one episode, it has potential; will give it a few more eps at least.

I liked it also. The whole financial dodgy dealings stuff always gets me hooked. Damian Lewis is great, loved him in BoB and Homeland, the rest of the cast/acting seems good too. Kinda has a Suits vibe as well which I like.

This didnt catch for me. Lewis and Giamatti are good but I just dont see a long term show here.

I dunno but I saw they got a second season renewal...Showtime must be pretty desperate at the moment. Guess they have to pay for reportedly expensive Twin Peaks reboot somehow.

You don't see the long term possibilities on a show about the corruption on Wall St?
