Just bought the Mi band 2. Already own the Mi band 1s and love it, but looking forward to have one that actually tells me the time

    Night of the first day

    20% remains

(Battery is definitely worse under CM but the experience is better)

I installed Cyanogenmod last night too, was a hassle free install. Good to be back on pure android though MIUI was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.

what's your use like? I'm getting awfully comfortable with my 5ish days on a single charge, Stock ROM

Medium. On MiUI I was running Pokemon Go all day and could get two days. Now I barely touch it and use Facebook Messenger, Chrome and Facebook a lot and only get a days worth. Currently on 45% and was at 100 this morning.

    Won't switch back, though.

Battery stats say my screen is by far the heaviest user but it's the only thing that wouldn't have changed to when I was on MiUI.

I get 2 days under CM if not gaming for my oneplus one (that with high gps and wifi on all the time), 1 day if playing pokemon go for a good 4-5hrs.

What battery mode are you on?

I honestly think I'd prefer stock ROM and longer battery at this point. Maybe in a year when my warranty runs out and the ROMs are more stable

Day 1 on CM down for me and my battery drained faster too, it was around 50% last night with fairly light use. Not really bothered as I'm so used to plugging ph's in at night every night now anyway.
I also had WiFi issues at work, it didn't seem to handle moving around the office where it would have changed AP's, just took ages to re-authenticate each time. Could have been a network problem or something though, will see how it goes today.
The aux plug issue I posted about above has gone which is good.

Are there any phones around the Redmi Note 3 Pro price range with a better camera? Reviewers seem to love the phone but almost allways point out the camera as being a bit meh.

I dont mind if its mid/late 2015 or isn't packing 3GB+ ram, etc as I don't really do mobile gaming. Just haven't been able to find much consensus on phone cameras in that 150-200USD price range.

The LG G3 has a much better camera and refurbs are selling for the same as the Note 3.

Also I sold a Lumia 930 for $280 not long ago.

    Check out TradeMe.

    Current phones with the best Sony cameras = IMX230, IMX298, IMX300, IMX318
However the manufacturer could drop the ball on software if they really tried, however you can download other camera apps.

There's a list on the right side of each of those entries with what phones use them. Lots of Chinese entries, have a sift through and see if you can find anything reasonably priced.

I really want a LeEco/LeTV LeMax 2 X820. The price of it relative to its spec is incredible.

thanks! will investigate. was looking at upping my budget and getting a Droid Turbo 2 but hopefully theres something cheaper on that list.

Strange though that a site like gsmarena doesn't have a database ranking phone cameras considering how its one of the main uses/improvable features of a smartphone these days.

Not a phone but this youtuber has already got a pretty detailed review of the Xiaomi Notebook Air 12.5" model. Got a Samsung 950 NVME SSD working in it as well!

Is the screen on the Redmi 3 really as bad as what most reviewers are saying? Lack of contrast and uneven coverage of light when viewed at a slight angle?

Would like reports from users who have actually been using it more than a couple of days.
