    BLOPS3 campaign was dope
I remember it being surprisingly good. A little confusing but the plot was pretty well thought out and kept me interested throughout. Also splitscreen on PC was a great bonus. A little sad BLOPS4 won't have campaign, I usually only buy Treyarch's COD titles but missing a campaign it becomes harder to justify the premium price tag

Campaign will most likely be added in as DLC I just dont see treyarch dropping it completely. Plus I dont see activision missing out on a chance to milk it even further.

You can't make claims like this, there is no certainty at all. All the facts that we know so far say that a traditional story-driven campaign was scrapped, according to multiple insider sources of multiple journalism outlets.

    It's Boots on the ground
    No wall running
    League play is back
    Zombies is on the Titanic
PC is on Blizzard Battle net
Battle royal mode is called Blackout and its "your favorite weapons. Your favorite characters. Your favorite maps. Land, sea and air vehicles" all in one big map

Yes, replaced by solo missions for specialist characters from the multi-player

Jeepers no single player mode... I hope they actually reconsider making it single player.

I see them releasing two games soon, so they can get $120 out of some people.

That zoom out was nicely done, at first I thought it was just going to be in that one building lol.

Can't really see CoD shooting mechanics working in a BR though, the snipers and rifles are too accurate and easy to kill with, if you get spotted and shot at you'll have no time to react before you die...

BR is so zzzz. Hopefully the traditional TDM is decent.

Idc about the SP. Would be keen to see what they do with the BR thing, will be quite different to other games and it also looks like the TTK is a bit longer than other CoDs

Rumour: DLC Vs. MP maps will be free. Zombies will have a season pass.

Free Vs. MP maps would be fantastic news since it means they won't be splitting the playerbase. I'm happy for players on console who'll actually be able to play this game (it'll be unplayable on PC because of high pings. All of the hosts will be Northern Hemisphere-based since CoD is practically dead on PC).

If the BR mode stacks up, and with free DLC etc; could be alright....Black Ops are my fave COD games easy.

Full price would be a bit cheeky though after straight ditching the campaign....we'll see.

Gotta say, it sounds, in theory, pretty interesting for a Call of Duty BR mode: air and sea vehicles even...could be rad.

New TTK looks WAY better in my opinion...twitch replaced with a more Destiny like gunfight: yes please!

Now....what you guys reckon, they gonna go full price on this? I think they may try a tactical 'mini' discount, say ~$50 USD or something, hard to say.

Just heard there will be no free DLC maps so I guess that's another nail in the CoD coffin

Where as Battlefield 5 - all DLC maps will be Free

Cod is generally copying Battlefield - so if gamers are happy with the Battlefield 5 business model then you will see next year COD will start giving away free maps too

Been playing the closed beta for last couple of hours & actually been enjoying it, even though its basically BO3 without the advanced movement (it still has boost sliding).

It shits all over IW & WW2 but that's to be expected since Treyarch made it. They've introduced some elements from Overwatch like ability cooldown & replaced FInal Killcam with the POTG.

The maps are your typical 3 lane Treyarch maps & are pretty good. The manual healing is ok but seems a bit unnecessary for such a fast paced game. One of the highlights for me is the game isn't infested with gay quickscopers like other CoD games.

Not sure if I'll preorder it (I just bought a beta key off CJS keys for $6) since I'm not sure how long it will keep me engaged since it the old formula is a bit stale these days.

So CoD: same old shit, different year? I've been thinking for almost a decade now that they should switch CoD over to a service-based model and be done with it, at least on PC. PC gamers don't buy these bloody games any more; if it was F2P with cosmetic customisation MXTs then you might be able actually get into a game which isn't unplayable high ping BS on a Nth Hemisphere server.

I've got all of the BF1 expansions now since they trickled them out for free over the last 6 months or so. I think I'll finally give that game's MP a try.

Gave the beta another go yesterday (1st impressions from Friday weren't great) with a couple mates who quit playing Cod around Ghosts. Played for 6 hours straight, lol.
Games pretty fun if you use the different specialist abilities as a team.
Fun tip :Experiment with the Operator mods for weapons. Skull splitter mod for the revolver gives insta-kill headshots + scope = Soooo much lols

Yeah I'm a bit surprised how much I'm enjoying it since I thought I was off CoD now after the last 2 shitty games. Think I might actually be getting it for some mindless lone wolf, Rambo action and get BFV if I feel like playing with a team.

Haven't tried the operator mods yet. Sounds cool
