Remember Dean Takahashi, the games urinalist who struggled with the Cuphead tutorial and couldn't complete the first level? Here he is struggling to navigate a Doom level. At one point he melees what looks like an ammo box. Pathetic.

    Multiplayer mode in action.

    Battlemode.

Pain Elemental, what a great name for a baddie. This looks like it could be a lot of fun.

The developer just confirmed that the new engine the game is running on was updated to support future hardware too.

As such Doom Eternal will run at up to 1000fps, yea that's one thousand frames per second.

So the game is future proofed for future high refresh monitors and gpus

    Not sure

But don't worry too much the system requirements were just pulled down from steam for some reason, maybe they were incorrect

Doesn't matter what specs you have, this game will never be as good as the movie it's based on.

The system requirements have been re-released, now with more details. I'll be playing at 1440p 120fps with Ultra Nightmare Settings. What about you guys?

    Minimum Specs (1080p / 60fps / Low Quality Settings)

Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or better, or AMD Ryzen 3 @ 3.1 GHz or better
    8GB System RAM
NVIDIA GTX 1650 (4GB) or AMD Radeon RX 470 (4GB)
    50 GB hard drive space

    Recommended Specs (1440p / 60fps / High Quality Settings)

Intel Core i7-6700K or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or better
    8GB System RAM
NVIDIA RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX Vega56, RX Vega 64 (8GB)
    50 GB hard drive space

    Ultra-Nightmare Specs (2160p / 60fps / Ultra-Nightmare Settings) OR (1440p / 120 FPS / Ultra-Nightmare Settings)

Intel Core i9-9900K or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or better
    16GB System RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (11GB) or better
    50 GB hard drive space

The crazy thing is this game technically goes up to 1000fps! The developers said they have tried their best to push the engine, but so far the best PC they could build and spending alot of time playing around with the settings the best they could manage was 400fps @ 1080p. This game is really future proofed

Certainly looks it! Isn't the Icon of Sin the Doom Slayers son in the Doom lore or something?

EDIT: Anyone see the price on Steam? $120? yeah nah sorry, as excited as I am, I can't justify that.
