    I thought it was Dead Rising 2 onwards that were developed by the Vancouver studio.

    Yeah, well, it was Dead Rising 2 : Off the record they started from.

    Dead Rising 2 , Dead Rising 2: Case West and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero were done by Blue Castle Games.

    Blue Castle is Capcom Vancouver technically. Capcom purchased them during development of DR2 OTR. But the studio only existed since 2005 anyway, so it's been Capcom Vancouver longer than it was Blue Castle.

    Hopefully this means another good Dead Rising game eventually.

    After the sales flop of DR4, that's unlikely. The best you can hope for is Frank West making guest appearances in other games. Dead Rising is probably in Capcom's "IP heaven" alongside Lost Planet, Dino Crisis, Darkstarkers, Powerstone, Rival Schools, etc.
