    RIP Telltale Games?

Speculation is rampant right now that telltale games is on the edge of closing down after a large amount of layoffs were reported. It seems the layoffs are being downplayed at the moment so well have to wait and see. But man this sucks if its true.

    According to https://www.usgamer.net/articles/rep...hings-canceled

"We previously reported that a skeleton crew will remain behind to complete work on The Walking Dead Final Season. That information was inaccurate. Sources who wish to remain anonymous explained that there is a skeleton crew at Telltale, but they will be working on the Minecraft Story Mode project for Netflix. In fact, The Walking Dead team was also laid off today and The Walking Dead Final Season will not be completed."

*Edit* Just tried my luck with Microsoft they said that they havent received official word yet but they have opened a case to investigate further.

Man, they must have pissed away a lot of their profits or had some crazy expenses. I wouldve thought with GoT and WD they would be doing pretty well - at the very least doing 'ok'.

This was apparently not the case they actually only made money off the first season of the walking dead and minecraft everything else in between made no money. Batman also was a big disaster for them.

I thought the whole point of the episodic format was that sales of the previous episode helped fund the next?

Now this, this type of shit warms my bitter scarred and occasionally blaise heart.
