    This looks awesome.

Production on the first Star Wars live-action streaming series has begun! After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. The series will be written and executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, as previously announced, with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode. Additional episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). It will be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer. Stay tuned to StarWars.com for updates.

Looks awesome. Surely this will take the title off GOT for money spent. Cause that looked like a blockbuster movie.

Aussie and NZ, are the only countries to get it after the US, Canada and the Netherlands this week.

The only other announced rollout is UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. But they have to wait till March 31st.

It would be pretty silly if theres only the first ep available to us next week with the official NZ launch, theres no reason to do that.

I am interested to see how the catalogue differs between the US/NZ given Disneys packaging here to TV networks and other local VOD platforms

First episode is pretty solid, bit short though, less than 40 minutes. One thing that surprised me was the humor, it's very understated and feels closer to the humor in New Hope and Empire than it does the prequels or later films, I liked it I thought the tone was spot on. Definitely looking forward to watching it legally next week once Disney+ launches here.
