Oh good, I don’t have to apologise for being a kiwi anymore whenever I’m sitting beside a tourist on an AirNZ flight.

I dislike all the Air NZ safety videos. Rapping hasn't got anything to do with it.

I've never seen that before and hope I never see it again. They've made some good ones AirNZ but that wasn't one of them.

Please don't tell me that girl in green is a real musician? Jesus.

It was quite impressive that the Antartica one was my least favourite ever, and then the Its Kiwi rap came out next and immediately overtook it. What a terrible streak.

I say this as someone who quite enjoyed the All Blacks MIB one. Especially when all the AB’s were on my flight straight after winning the World Cup and looked ****ing embarrassed about it.

Good god, apparently the girl in green is a "rising NZ rap star".

Rising out of a swamp, maybe. Or possibly ate a container of yeast and a bag of flour.

If people are buying her albums I'm done with this country.

She 'rapped' in that song like she was Keanu Reeves doing a spontaneous hip hop number in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Albeit reading it was a safety video several times it just hit me that it was supposed to carry a safety message.

I wouldn't have learned anything from it, none of the words carried any meaning.

Bob Jones bought a biz jet so he didn't have to listen to shit like that.

Can't for the life of me see how it's good for business.

Safety messages are supposed to make you less stressed.

So it's a normal airline safety briefing, then?

this is a cultural marxist plot to ensure that only millennials make it out of the crash alive

Pretty sure he purchased the jet because he was kicked off an Air NZ flight.

Feel pretty bad for the people involved in the ad itself (like Randa and King) but **** it's a cringer. Fire the people responsible and bring back those cheap late night flights between AKL and WLG to compensate imo

It's one of those international air safety treaty requirements. I've been on some whacky foreign airlines and they all do some version of it. I wouldn't be surprised if they still have to pay lip service to it on private jets.

I tried watching it and could only make it about a minute in.

They should make a slightly more pornographic version of the nude body paint one they were running a few years ago. That would hold people's attention.

The videos are pointless, everyone will die if the plane crashes.

But they need to prove in court that they did everything in their power to keep people safe. Saying 'Oh well, they're all ****ed anyway' isn't really a good look.

It was more of an anti immigration video than anything else.

Ryanair is basically just "if we crash here's the life jacket, put your seatbelt on and buy some scratch cards"
