But they can pass increased taxes on.

You can pass the tax on, but something like this can help improve the Dynamics making local suppliers more attractive.

Don't buy that new car Vulcan, I hear some other people have crashed and died.

I think you need to clean the pesticide off your weed before you light up.

Yeah, cause if that was the case, I'd definitely go for inorganic weed.

Is GP still locally hosted, or will we have to rehome to Trademe forums?

    TradeMe has a forum?

God, that must be a cesspit.

What on earth could they possibly talk about?
    "Is this a good deal?"
"Yes, and I just hit buy now, loser."

    "I hate TradeMe fees"
    "Me too"

    https://URL.COM:444 = Tax evasion.
The likes of office365 & google for work ARE going to adjust the prices to pass on costs, as would netflix (easily).
The expectation that creates a local market for local innovators is dumb, that dried up years ago.

I wonder if XERO (a multinational digi-wizbang based in NZ) is going to be caught up in the tax ?

I think they killed the servers or something in the end. The modern era of companies having to permanently host online infrastructure sucks.

We should ban it in the interNetZ.

Using this argument might as well not have any corporate tax at all, just pass it all onto salary and wage earners.

hmm... it is almost as if that is almost what is happening....... almost as if taxing capital gains might just have a modicum of merit.

I'm sure we all know at least one small business owner who structures their tax affairs as a small business owner/contractor to write off everything including the kitchen sink as a company expenditure....
