From what I've seen of the Wgtn forwards this year it's going to be a real struggle for us to make the semi-finals.

After watching our first couple of games that match was a big improvement... shows how strong Aumua is charging at players with ball in hand he just smashed through Romano & that is never easy.

We did great against Cant at scrum time, but when we made changes in the forwards midway through the 2nd half we clearly didn't have the depth as they then completely dominated our scrum & came right back into the match, was great to hold on & sneak the win, any win against Cant is a bloody good win

I just watched the game, what a shit fest of bad handling all around. I can't remember us ever having this bad a start to a season. I expect we'll smash Southland next week though.

Tasman is definitely the team to beat at the moment, I don't know how they managed to put that team together under the salary cap though.

Noticed both Hawke's Bay and Waikato fell asleep at the wheel after scoring their four tries to get the bonus point. Much prefer the 3+ try difference rule.

To be fair Wgtn did play really well for long periods so deserved the win.

Tasman is doing a Cant so far in the comp, dominating in set pieces & in general in the forwards.

True, but like Cant normally do they're dominating in the forwards & that's how you take control of the game.
