also if we were going to lose to anyone, i'm a million x more OK with losing to England winning their first world cup ever, on home soil -- than if we'd been crushed by australia in the final lmao.

Whenever an English supporter brings this up in the next 4 years I'm going to imply they cheated via that overthrow.

Seriously though, how could a WC final be so close...

As an England fan, that world cup deserves to be shared, neither team deserved to lose that, especially not in such a cruel manner.

Rub of the green, sometimes these things go for you, sometimes they go agin you. Winning the toss was a pretty decent advantage that went NZ's way on this pitch, you just have to roll with the cards you're dealt

Also **** that **** Erasmus for giving Taylor out & not Roy. Those were crucial decisions as well. So much shit went against us but Guptills wasted review & Boult's shit performance didnt help.

I’m pissed off and venting but it seems wrong that:

    1. Runs deflected off the bat are counted and not dead ball. Wasn’t aware this was even a rule.
    2. You tie the game, then tie the super over; and still lose.

Surely if a super over is tied you play another.

When did they change the rule from it being a dead ball (which it always ****ing should be)
